According to Ohio Revised Code Section 731.06(A)(1), the legislative authority of a city shall subdivide the city into wards, equal in number to the members of the legislative authority to be elected from wards. Shelby City Council has accomplished this task with the passing of Ordinance 33-2003.
Below are descriptions of the ward boundaries as well as a map. The descriptions and maps will take effect on January 2, 2012.
